First item on our meeting agenda? Captain's t-shirts. Lisa and Fred #2 will be sporting grey t-shirts with yellow writing (the Oral Cancer Foundation's colors), Serena and Fred #1 will be wearing navy blue t-shirts with yellow writing (the Sean Kimerling Testicular Cancer Foundation's colors), and Nicole, our lovely Avon Event representative, will be rocking a yellow t-shirt with navy blue writing (her husband had been diagnosed with testicular cancer several years ago). The ladies' shirts will have an adorable little softball player decal, while the Two Freds' shirts will get a little baseball player.
While Serena sewed small baseball patches to each of the shirts' sleeves, Lisa tackled the issue of decorating a number of coffee cans to be left at local stores for fundraising.Nicole had the misfortune of analyzing the bracelet situation. There were a few bead explosion incidents at first...
We may have a lead on a potential sponsor for the event's t-shirts, but we'll keep you posted on that front as more confirmed details come in. In promotion related news, the event has officially been posted to the Events Calendar for Newsday!
Looks like you are busy women!! What hard work you are pouring into this event. Your fathers must be so proud of you!! I am sure this will be a very successful day! If you need anything else from the Oral Cancer Foundation, please let us know.
